Policies & Bylaws

You will find our organization policies and bylaws below. Only policies will be adopted by the Board of Directors. If any changes to the bylaws are needed, then a team of volunteers will be picked, and they will try to find a resolution and then submit it to the members for ratification. A member vote will then take place and will be adopted by the board of directors.

2.4 Revocation of Membership:
Ethical Heathen Alliance reserves the right to discipline or expel any member, including a permanent member, who has been deemed to be in violation of all policies, bylaws, roles, regulations, mission statement, vision, and values. Actions will be determined by majority Board vote according to the following guidelines and recorded in the Board meeting minutes but not made public. The actions of the Board will then be given in private and/or over email to that person or persons involved if there is no action or if there is action and what action has taken place.
2.5 Principles and Purpose of Discipline:
Ethical Heathen Alliance seeks to maintain the integrity of the community while striving to uphold the rights and freedoms of individual members.
Individual members’ behavior may impede the community’s ability to maintain a constructive environment or hinder the organization’s ability to function. If this should happen, then disciplinary procedures may be invoked. Our actions must be timely, decisive, consistent, and fair.
The organization does not and will not involve itself in any personal matters. If any allegations are shown to be a result of a personal argument, disagreement, or dispute, it will not be handled by the Board of Directors only if individuals within the issues cannot act accordingly within the community and maintain a constructive environment or cause the disability of the organization’s ability to function.
If any member is in violation of civil law, Ethical Heathen Alliance will waste no time in filing with civil authorities and encourage the appropriate parties to file a complaint as well.
All disciplinary actions are based on all policies, bylaws, roles, regulations, mission statements, visions, values, and civil and criminal law.
Civil and criminal law will be based on the law of the land. You are innocent until proven guilty. If a member/person is found guilty of a crime greater than but not limited to anything that will cause harm to yourself or anyone else, theft and robbery, and any felony.
Media Policies
This policy is for those that want to be part of the organization. These must be looked at very closely. We do have a presence on a lot of platforms, but we do not operate on Facebook or TikTok, as we have found that the apps/sites themselves take up too many resources and data mine your computer.
1. Do Not Mention:
Whatever platform you choose to be active on besides the ones we use is your choice. Anything you post, such as videos, pictures, and posts, will not be held against you as long as there is no mentioning of members’ names or personal information, such as home address, workplace, kids’ names, and so on.
Do not talk in disrespect about the organization in any way, shape, or form. Disciplinary action will take place, and you will be removed from the organization.
2. Advertising:
Ethical Heathen Alliance is a private group and is advertised by word of mouth and on search engines as well as with other groups that are not within Facebook.
No member can advertise in a positive/negative manner on any platform unless given written permission from the Board of Directors to advertise in a positive manner.
3. Criminal Action On A Platform:
If any member commits a crime on any platform, no matter the game, voice chat, text chat, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc., and is guilty of such a crime. Disciplinary action will take place, and you will be removed from the organization.
4. What Happens On A Platform Stays On That Platform:
Do not bring problems and/or issues from other platforms to the organization. What happens to them, and it does not include the organization, is none of our business.
Now if our name gets brought up or someone is slandering or defaming the organization. Please take screenshots as well as record anything that is online about the organization that is being said.
Activism Policy
No one from the Ethical Heathen Alliance can act in an official manner for the organization, as we do not participate in any activism at all. Ethical Heathen Alliance does not and will not participate in actions that promote violence, racism, sexism, or bigotry or are otherwise in conflict with the organization’s principles.
